Join us for our CRU Spring Break (Mar 9-16) down in Destin Florida.  Currently, the trip is full however, we have startred a waitlist that you can sign up for.  We will notify you if a spot opens.  Read more below and watch the videos on what to expect.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Cost - The cost will start at $355 (goes up to $365 on Jan 28th) and a bulk of that covers housing.  We provide a pizza dinner when you arrive; we buy a lot of paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags for the houses (so you won't have to), and we also pay the "tip" at the restaurant for the campus dinner so you don't get charged.  If money is the main thing that is preventing you from going, we offer partial scholarships.  This is a very inexpensive trip for what you get !  We hope you can go.

Housing - We are staying in nice rental houses across from the beach.  Each house has a full kitchen, washer/dryer, sheets and towels.  Students can sign up together in rooming groups of 2,3,4, or 5 starting Wed, Jan 31st.   We will combine groups to fill the different houses.  The houses are in an area called Crystal Beach and are scattered within about a 1 mile area. 

General Schedule - We will have 4-5 large group meetings at a local church, family dinner groups that will eat together on 4 nights,  a campus-wide dinner at a local restaurant, fun afternoons on the beach,  a Men's/Women's night, Spikeball, Cornhole, Volleyball, house desserts, and much more.  A full schedule will be available closer to the trip.  

Meals / Spending Money - Most all meals will be up to the students, however, all houses have full kitchens and there are multiple grocery stores nearby.  We will have family dinners on 4 of the nights and that cost is split among the group.  We will all go out to eat at a local restaurant one night and that is up to each student but we will cover the tip.  Most students that have been suggest bringing  $150 - $190 to spend on food, travel gas, and other misc expenses.

Registration  - The cost of the trip will start at $355 and will increase to $365 on Jan 28th.   Initially, you will only need to put down a $50 deposit to hold your spot.  As we get closer to the trip, you will need to increase the amount of your deposit if you haven't already paid in full.  By Jan 30th, you will need to increase your deposit amount to $150 and then by  Feb 15th, the full balance will be due.  We will deal with any refunds on a case by case basis. 

Travel - Ultimately, getting to Destin is up to each student however we will help students get connected to others that are driving.  Flying is also an option using VPS as the airport code.  Most students carpool down and split the gas money.  We will display ride needs/offers on our registration website. We've never had a problem with someone not getting a ride down there.
