CRU Hurricane Relief

We've all been shocked at the damage that was done by hurricane Helene last week.  As a ministry, we want to be the hands and feet of Christ and do what we can to help out our neighbors in western North Carolina.  We are trying to figure out other ways to help during this tragedy but we wanted to give everyone an opportunity to give to the relief effort.   We have two Cru teams in Asheville and Boone that can use our help! Anything you give here will go directly to them so they can meet the needs of people in these areas. Stay tuned for opportunities to go and serve them. VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

We have had many of you ask if we were doing anything as an entire ministry for Hurricane Helene Relief over Fall Break. CRU has been partnering with Samaritans Purse for any volunteering efforts.  Logistically, it would be very difficult for us (NC State CRU) to mobilize a large group to volunteer, however, if small groups (15 or less) want to go and volunteer over Fall Break (or other times) then you can get a group together and sign up on the Samaritans Purse websiteWe have CRU ministries in both Boone (Watauga Co) and Asheville (Buncombe Co) and are encouraging students to sign up for those locations if possible, however, there are other areas you can sign up to go to.  If you decide to get a group together and go, please let one of the CRU staff members here at State know.  Thanks !!
